In the late ’80’s, when computers advanced sufficiently, I jumped right into color processing comics. At that time, I couldn’t keep up financially with the technology, but did tutor professionals while helping with set-up and flats. Unfortunately, my colorist portfolio from those days was corrupted in transition.

Back in the day, I was a proficient freelancer using QuarkXpress. Returning to the workforce, that seems to be an obsolete skillset, and I admit, I haven’t gotten any encouragement to learn any of the newer publishing softwares. I improvise through Illustrator when it comes up.
